Naproxen Sodium or Ibuprofen 200 Caplets Where In Thailand ?

Featured Replies

Have not been able to find at any shop in Thailand nor online. Where can you purchase this?

Try any Fascino pharmacy - it is where I shop.

Ibuprofen 200 is hard to find. I gave up a year ago and use a pill cutter on 400 tablets. Ibuprofen tablets tend to be crumbly but 400s are so cheap even if I get one 200 out of each it's good.

Online I see zero. You say you have seen bottles sold in stores in Thailand?

I bought my Naproxen Sodium on E-bay. Not available in Thailand or UK.

I buy Naproxen Sodium tablets at the pharmacy in our local Lotus's store here in Udon Thani.  You don't need a prescription but you do have to ask the pharmacist for it.  It's called "Synflex" Naproxen sodium 275 mg , and manufactured in Thailand (under authority of Atnahs Pharma U.K. Ltd.)  I buy the 60 tablet box (I think I paid around 680 baht), sold in a white box of 10 blister packs of 6 tablets, but I think you can also buy them by the individual blister pack.

I have seen and purchased both items in my local Fascino shop within the last month,; in fact a blue Naproxen Sodium strip purchased last week.  Go the Fascino, and ask the staff.

You will see zero since May-2025 this year when the law was enforced for online sales. Only registered pharmacists can buy these kind of drugs online now.

Aleve is what I previously used for arthritis back in California.  When I came here and asked for it the pharmacist said Synflex is same as Aleve.  I've been taking Synflex for over 6 years now and it does appear to work as well as Aleve.

Ibuprofen 400 caplets are often scored.  I find that the Duran brand are hardest, and best for breaking and splitting.  They cost very little.  Fwiw over the years I have often sought, and never seen, 200 mg ibuprofen.

I think that is called a monopoly and can not even buy a bottle of aspirin . WTF! Is it legal for a friend to mail me a bottle from America?

Never had a problem getting Naproxen at a pharmacy, up till now you could only get 250 mg, recently had a little motorbike prang, needed some for the pain, they now do a 550 mg one name of "Sonap Forte" in Pratumnak, Pattaya

As mentioned,  Fascino has the 250 mg, they don't list all drugs on their website

https://ndi.fda.moph.go.th/drug_detail/index/?rctype=1A&rcno=4800030&register=MUEgMzAvNDg=

In Thai, but you get the info

Naproxen any pharmacy will have.

They will all also have Ibuprofen but usually not in the 200 mg dosage. You might be able to find a scored 400 mg preparation that you can split in half.

Show the pharmacy staff the names of these drugs written down. They are so common that I suspect your issue may have been in communication. Thais have their own way of pronouncing things.

This is the Naproxen brand I buy at Boots and Fascio:

Great for migraines and highly effective as an anti-inflammatory.
