Looking around the news today, it seems that this Trump Administration is in extreme confusion.

 

Trump just quoted his 'Tariff's' as having raised 'hundreds of millions' in contrast to the 'seventeen trillion' he said some time ago. And reducing prices by 600% is mathematical nonsense as has been pointed out, (99.9% recurring is the maximium mathematically possible).

 

This sad President has antagonised and estranged all his neighbours, e.g. Canada, Mexico, Venezuela and Columbia ! Ukraine and all of Europe's wider security has been put in jeopardy by wildly erratic, bizarre and clueless statements and actions. Currently Trump advocates Ukraine's surrender on Russia' terms - some 'Friend' is he !!

 

Americans are struggling as the economy falters and Trump's measures turn order upsidedown.

 

The signs are, his political support is coming apart at the seams - roll on the day when he falls . . . . .

 

Very sad to see the USA in this state . . . . .

Personally, and I don't consider it particularly irrational, I see criticising a man who paid for a "diagnosis" of a medical condition to gain exemption from the draft in time of war, and who is now strutting around wallowing in the glory of being "Commander in Chief" of the world's largest military as quite reasonable.

1) First off, it's not clear that the Supreme Court will let the US keep that money if it rules against the tariffs. Second, even if the Courts does rule in favor of  the tariffs, Trump originally promised that money would go to keeping down the deficit. It's not at all clear the Republicans are going to along with that. And no, Trump doesn't have the right to do that unilaterally.  

2) There is no point in once again explaining to you  at lengths why you got that wrong. Just one of your many errors is calling them "Intel Chiefs".  They were ex-Intelligence officers. And far from all of them could be fairly described as "chiefs". And it has been repeatedly explained to you that the public wasn't misinformed. Given the circumstances and closeness to the elections, their cautions were perfectly respectable. What wasn't respectable was publishing info from the computer without vetting it first. Which is why it was published in a media source with low standards: the NY Post. Giuliiani admitted that responsible sources wouldn't accept the info from him without corresponding data to prove its authenticity. Data he refused to hand over.
