tax filing at jomtien

Featured Replies

Planning to do my 2025 tax filing at Jomtien soon.Last year for my first filing I provided them with a yearly statement from Kbank as they had earlier indicated would be required.Does anyone know if this is still required as I would prefer to save myself the time and expense of visiting the bank? Thanks.

If you do intend to file a tax return, why not use the efiling online system? If you do that you don't need to provide any supporting documents, unless of course they decide to audit you (unlikely) and then the RD will tell you what they need,

Thanks but I'm too much of a technophobe to attempt that and I've got the bank statement already only 200 baht.

And what information off that statement were they interested in -- remittances? If so, did you then have to explain what was assessable income; what wasn't assessable income?

Just curious about the RD's nosiness concerning remittances....

They didn't tell me and didn't ask any for any explanations. As it happens all foreign remittances were assessable income and declared as such so if they did study it they would see that.
