An online buzz erupted as netizens scrambled to locate a mysterious nudist resort in Thailand after a woman shared her tantalising experience there. The resort, previously unknown to many Thais, is a naturist haven where guests are required to be nude at all times during activities. The woman's post, paired with photos and videos, has opened many eyes to this unusual escape.

The woman revealed that strict rules govern this resort. Guests must remain unclothed while walking, swimming, sunbathing, and using communal spaces. Harsh regulations are in place to ensure safety, including bans on photography without consent and prohibitions of sexual activities in public areas.

The resort prides itself on ensuring peace, privacy, and safety for its guests, with two major rules: no unauthorised photography and a complete ban on public sexual activities. Any violations result in immediate removal from the area. Guests who feel uncomfortable due to stares can report their discomfort to the staff, who will promptly intervene.

The reviewer emphasised that the body positivity culture in this place fosters acceptance and equality by eliminating judgements based on appearance. The resort is designed for complete privacy, attracting mainly foreign guests, and is served by Thai staff. This revelation has both startled and intrigued many netizens, unveiling a new perspective on travel in Thailand.

Globally, naturism is a well-established lifestyle, especially popular in Europe and America. Iconic locations like Cap d'Agde in France, known as "The Naked City," and Koversada in Croatia have embraced naturism for decades. The United States also offers several renowned resorts catering to this lifestyle.

Common naturist etiquette includes using towels on public seating for hygiene and discouraging intrusive staring at others’ bodies. Core to naturism is family-orientated interaction with nature, rather than sexual activities; hence, the universal "No Sex" rule in public spaces.

The establishment of such resorts in Thailand caters to a niche tourist demographic seeking a natural, private retreat, adhering to international standards for orderliness.

Key Takeaways

  • A newly highlighted nudist resort in Thailand requires nudity and follows strict privacy and conduct rules.

  • The culture of naturism emphasises body positivity, equality, and family-friendly interactions with nature.

  • Similar resorts worldwide share these practices, attracting a specific tourist demographic.

I find the article hard to believe, as none that I know of, 'require you to be nude', and clothes optional, what ever one is comfortable with.

I such a place exists, and I doubt, I expect to see it being in the news as closed by the authorities.

It's not for me, I prefer to be nude at all times during activities only with my girlfriend, she walks around naked all day when we're alone.

I think the Thais want to be shocked. The number of videos and photos on Facebook of people being naughty indicates a very prurient nature.

It is not for me, so I have never gone there, but I know the owner and it is exactly as the article describes it. Believe it. Real for sure.

Wait till the hordes of male Indian tourists get a whiff of this!

Hopefully those impolite visitors who feel it's not rude to go shirtless around streets and shops will be banished there.

Just asking for a friend, do they really need 'harsh regulations' to prevent couples going at it like rabbits in public?
