Internet is very slow for some websites.

Featured Replies

Cannot even stream without it stopping or closing down.
Done local and international speed test , huge difference.

7Mbps should be more than enough to stream anything other than 'ultra high HD'

is the service you want to stream from in Singapore ?

There is always a big difference between local and international speeds.

Thailand has made amazing advances in internet speed especially in local speed ..leapfrogged so called advanced countries by miles.

Joking ,,perhaps those 'dastardly' Russians ( AKA Ukrainians)

have been blowing up underseas cables again ?

No , it was just the first country that came into my head .
To be honest I don't know where the stream originates.

you can try this maybe it will give you a clue ( ass- u-and me-ing you use windows ? )

Running Tracert/Traceroute: Step-by-Step Guide

Follow the below steps to Run a traceroute (tracert) command using Mircosoft Windows 10/11:

Step 1: Open the Command Prompt

Simply type 'cmd' in the search bar and hit Enter. The Command Prompt window will open.

Alternatively, Press Win + R, type cmd, and hit Enter.

Step 2: Run the Tracert Command

To trace the route to a specific website, type 'tracert' followed by the domain or IP address i.e. tracert www.theslowsite.com

that might tell you the origination point

if you provide a bit more detail of the sites that are slow there may be more help forthcoming

from others more savvy than me.

7 Mbps to Singapore indeed indicates there is a problem with the international gateway of your ISP.

And no 7 Mbps is not enough to stream anything other than UHD, someone has no idea what he's talking about.

Oh wait it is the same guy who claims that bank apps should still work on Android 4.2.

Have you tried rebooting your router, by removing the power cord for about 5 minutes?

Edit : I see you are on TOT, so no surprise there

Yeah well somebody can't read.

I said 7Mbps should be enough for content that is not UHD

Full HD (1080p)

H.264: ~5 Mbps

H.265: ~3 Mbps

And yes apps should and could work on Android 4.2 if the 'programmers' stopped adding bloat.

There is something wrong with your ToT(NT) connection.

7 Mbps from Singapore!!

That extreme asymmetric result for Singapore is strange.

Just did an OOKLA test from my mobile to Singtel.

211 / 190

(numbers are limited by WiFi and fairly old mobile).

You have already tried the usual attempts to fix?

Power cycle router?

Power cycle your device?

Otherwise time to complain with NT.
