Russia applauds US 'letting them attack Ukraine'-'Trump is ours'

Featured Replies

Russian commentators told viewers that “the United States is letting us attack Ukraine” during a recent state TV programme, according to the Daily Express.

The remarks followed new Russian strikes and intensified debate over Washington’s role.

One speaker suggested the current US position amounted to quiet consent.

Russia celebrates US ‘letting them attack Ukraine’: “Trump is ours”

He claimed America was choosing not to intervene, even if it would not openly support Moscow.

The tone of the broadcast reflected confidence that geopolitical conditions were shifting in Russia’s favour.

Another contributor compared Donald Trump’s peace initiative to a corporate boardroom.

He described it as “a board of directors with Trump as its chairman”, made up of both “great directors and weak ones”.

The same speaker argued the initiative could help “unfreeze our [Russian] assets”.

Zelensky has rejected giving up land, with polls showing little support among Ukrainians for concessions. The Kremlin has said full control of Donbas remains a “very important condition” for peace.

Why should the US protect Europe?

  1. Because it's in NATO, Article 5 , an attack on one, is an attack on all.

  2. If Europe is attacked by Russia

( obviously Ukraine already is), then many used to think that the US, as an ally with shared values of democracy and freedom, would assist the country attacked.

Since Europe has been lagging in defense spending, I believe there is no reason for U.S. service members to risk their lives for Europeans.

A lot of Europeans lost their lives in Afghanistan and Iraq joining the coalition of the willing, and of course as members of NATO, helping the US after it was attacked on 9/11.

The US used to have a lot of soft power around the world. The only (small apparently) bit of soft power left now is in Trump's pants, or depends.

Trump failed in the ceasefire spat his dummy out and failed to recieve his Nobel so he turned his back on Ukraine, or and Ceasefire. On Saturday reps from Ukraine America and Russia supposedly sat down to discuss Potential ceasefire while they were ongoing Russia sent Missiles into Ukraine citys, they have no intention of stopping.

Why would the US not support its biggest ally and trading partner? It would take a Russian mentality to have such thoughts as yours?

They don't need to risk their lives. The mere threat of US intervention is enough to stop Putin....

More like Friends of Facts:

In a sharp decrease from the past level of military assistance for Ukraine, the NDAA includes $400 million in funding for the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI) for new arms intended for Ukraine for 2026 and 2027. To put this into context, the April 2024 Ukraine supplemental aid bill included nearly $14 billion in USAI funding.

I'm sure Vlad is very grateful to Donald for 'letting him attack Ukraine'. The fact is, Eastern democracies often need external threats and progress in combating them to maintain internal stability. When Vlad demonstrates progress in his fight against fascism to his people, his support grows, and they are willing to forgive him for all his mistakes.

A Bangladeshi man, Maksudur Rahman, was reportedly lured from his tropical homeland to Russia with the promise of a janitorial job, only to find himself thrust onto the front lines of the war in Ukraine within weeks.

An investigation by The Associated Press has uncovered a pattern where Bangladeshi workers are enticed to Russia under false pretences of civilian employment, subsequently coerced into combat roles.

Many of these individuals faced threats of violence, imprisonment, or even death if they refused. Mr Rahman, among three Bangladeshi men who managed to escape the Russian military and spoke to AP, recounted how he and fellow workers were instructed to sign Russian documents upon arrival in Moscow, which later proved to be military contracts.

Bangladeshi workers lured to Russia tricked into fighting in Ukraine

How many Bangladeshis were deceived into fighting is unclear. The Bangladeshi men told AP they saw hundreds of Bangladeshis alongside Russian forces in Ukraine.

Officials and activists say Russia has also targeted men from other African and South Asian countries, including India and Nepal.

Of course Vladimir dares not conscript the sons of the Russian middle class and the elites in Moscow or St. Petersburg for his brutal war against Ukraine.
