Is it me or are there more crazy people everywhere in the world? Just the other afternoon a Thai/American was acting aggressively in a restaurant during late afternoon

Seems these type stories get published a lot these days. Need to make air travel much more expensive. End the era of flying busses. Make people wear decent clothes, keep their hands and feet to themse

  • One would expect the Vietnamese will send him back to Russia - quality cannon fodder.

They should have done as he said. Open the airplane door mid-flight and let him leave. :)

Do you think Vietnam immigration will look through pages and pages of a passport looking for a Thailand entry / exit stamp if he hands over his passport and boarding pass? They might, but then again, they probably will not.

When somebody was deported back, to the origin of travel, the immigration officers have feed back information about him already.

So his arrival has had a special attention.

Looks to me like he is preparing for a swim in his swimsuit.

But, where is the beach?

He is being sent back to Nha Trang.

Cam Ranh Bay has beautiful beaches.

I was there in 1971,

Beautiful.

Very few tourists at the time.

AND....NO RUSSIANS, back then.

I think they were a bit further north firing the SA 2 sam missiles not on the beaches!

The Elites have been crafting a variation of that for some time.

The best way is to continually seed stories like these in the media, of unhinged passengers (crisis actors?) airspace mishaps, Boeing's and others' manufacturing problems, etc.

You will need plenty of Social Credits to even qualify for the privilege of flying.

The wicked Elites want your feet nailed to the floor in your country of origin - end of.

I prefer business or first-class cabins these days for this reason, and I never fly ultra-cheap carriers.

So true if he was on Ryan Air he would

have an upgrade !

Absolutely right. We can’t let in people who’ve said hurty words about our leader.

Russia has shut down the Internet for fear of the truth about their disastrous invasion of ukrain.🤣

There has got to be a Brit somewhere out there saying 'hold my beer', the Russians can't get all the glory.

You totally lost me at 'they need to make air travel much more expensive'. It's an absurd and unfair solution. The world is expensive enough as it is, including plane travel.

I think perhaps it is an age- related issue of perception

As we get older some of us perhaps become more mellow and more aware of the importance of politeness, good behaviour, mutual courtesy, respecting foreign culture and so on?

Just a thought

How did the Immigration recognise he had insufficient funds did they rifle therough his wallet.

I imagine so. They are entitled to.

Plus while at it, ban those that do not have any of the following;

*Do not have royal blood.

*Do not own a house in a blue chip suburb and that has more than 5 bedrooms , swimming pool and butler.

*Only shop at Harrods, Guuci etc for clothes

and so on. Do you agree John Blake? 😁

You for real? Geezes we have a couple of aristocratic snobs here today!

There's absolutely no room for this kind of behavior on a flight and I'm thrilled that the authorities denied him entrance. Hopefully he'll face a lot of push back when he lands back home as I'm sure his behavior will be communicated to his home country.

This Russian guy has issues and yes should not have been able to board the flight in the first place. Yet some people here, as i have already identified, could not care whether or not he just dies somewhere away from all.

Maybe, just maybe he was like a normal person but was forced to go to Ukraine where at the moment, and it is a fact, 35,000 Russians are killed per month, and I stress skilled. it's not their fault its that scum Putin -another Hitler.

So I ask how would you mentally handle that situation? As for me I would end up like this guy!

No mention of any luggage.

Just a small package, by the looks of it.

Congrats to immigration for nyetting another undesirable....

The "Insufficient means of support" (you're supposed to have ฿20 000.- cash on arrival) is a handy means of getting rid of all sorts of undesirables. Not all, but it does get used for that.

That’s only about $650. If you don’t have that you shouldn’t be on an international flight and stay home.

Traveling is not an entitlement it is a privilege. Something that has been forgotten over the years.

Your flight on Spirit Airlines awaits you. That is unless you get caught up in one of its brawls at check-in.

Take a boat. Carnival might be just for you.

It would certainly be nice if everyone with mental disorders would go berserk and get screened on flights before arriving here and then send them back to wherever.

well the queues at passport control would be a lot shorter and at least 50% of members on here would be missing So not a bad idea at all

it goes without saying that children and the obese should be discouraged from flying , So full fares for the rug rats and "special" enhanced prices for the fatties based on BMI along with big discounts for anybody having to sit near them

Vietnam immigration scans the passport first, just like they do here in Thailand, so his recent departure will be easily seen without having to "look through pages and pages".

Yes, and that's all incoming immigration will be looking for, that he actually left, thus, a visa run.

16 hours ago, NanLaew said:

Moot point anyway. He will probably be met and escorted through Vietnam immigration on arrival, and detained until they decide where to export him to next.

Why do you say this? By the time he fronts Vietnam immigration, he will present sober.

I appears some members are under the belief he was being deported from Vietnam. He very well may have been, but if just a drunk visa runner, he'll be back in Vietnam on a 45 day visa exemption.

I have only ever been asked once to show the 20,000 baht cash, and that was many many years ago. I pulled out my ATM card and said, "I go ATM?" He just stamped me through. 🙂

On another occasion, I saw a guy do the same thing, but they didn't believe he had money so they actually escorted him to an ATM. 🙂

Doubtful, since he won't have a Thailand entry stamp.

Direct Flights from Cam Ranh to China, and Vladavostock - let’s see him deboard the plane in his underwear in Vlad where it's minus 10C today.

Yes, can you imagine sitting next to this guy?

You would have to talk to the cabin staff and explain that the guy needs to be subdued, and then volunteer to be the one to do it. 🙂

Should he attempt to come back I hope immigration will stop from entering and help him return home, if the Vietnamese haven’t do so already, so he can fight for Putler. And maybe whilst dodging muck and bullets he might reflect that being a drunken a**hole on a plane wasn’t his smartest move.

They only got him on being drunk and not having 20,000 baht cash. How many guys coming to Thailand for a 2 week holiday arrive drunk from a long haul flight and without 20,000 baht in their wallet?

If he's a visa runner, he may have had a later flight out that day, or early morning flight the day. He would have already had the return ticket.

As I said in another post, he may be just a drunk visa runner, and not someone who was deported from Vietnam by authorities.

If he was doing a visa run, when he presents at Vietnam immigration, sober, on what grounds can they detain and deport him?
