Just curious and definitely not judging anyone here at all. How many hours a day do you think is healthy to be spending reading and posting here on this forum?

1 hour per day - Normal. You drop in, read a bit, then bounce back to Pornhub and get on with the more important things in your life.

2 to 5 hours per day - Clearly bored. Probably avoiding something more productive, like going out shopping for a new backscratcher.

5 to 10 hours per day - Getting desperate. The forum is starting to replace real interests. Clearly not getting enough flange.

10 to 15 hours per day - Has no life whatsoever. Basically living in an imaginary social world. Forum is your only remaining identity. Only other joy left in life is pinching a respectable loaf.

15+ hours per day - Completely lost. Weird. Beyond saving. AN derangement disorder. Borderline needs an intervention. A frontal lobotomy is worth considering.

There is one dude on here that all he does is bang on about days won, lefties, trolls and can't make a single post without getting a flock of red thumbs. I have never once come on the site and not seen him online. This would put him in the 15+ hours a day category. Yeah, that bloke definitely needs an intervention.

Topics start out okay, but always seem to get reduced to flaming from those certain few. Just a reason for it, along with turning what's said around to suit their narrative.

I spend 20-30 mins a day reading and posting on here.

Most of my time I'm killing zombies playing World War Z: Aftermath.

10 minutes is more than enough, not near the site it used to be.

There are some members who's lives seem to be defined by posting on this forum, and from what I can tell, sometimes hours on end. Personally, that does not seem healthy. It seems obsessive. But hey - whatever floats your boat.

The problem is many discuss other posters not the actual topic. Ive clicked on profiles and seen 15/15 nothing to do with topic. Yet these guys claim to be "good" and not trolling. 15 troll posts in a row.

Can't do vid games, too addicting. Pre TH, I was addicted to Duke Nukem, and took forever to get to the top level, end of game.

Khunla knows more than me. Nobody else does. Paddy Doyle has been to more places. My friends lived in Thailand for 10 and 12 years. I know way more than them. I also speak better Thai. Neither of them have been to Krabi or Chiang Mai. Being an expat means nothing apart from visas and local area. A person who lived in Melbourne for 50 years and never been to Perth knows little about it. Every city is different. In Thailand the people are different too. Like southern folks are mostly muslim. Isaan folks are mostly short and speak Lao Isaan mostly. Chiang Mai people speak Lanna and are taller and prefer different food.

My friend who lived there for 12 years never went to Hua Hin until I told him to go. He has been to about 12 places in Thailand only in 12 years. He asks me all the time about cities cause he has never been.

So being an expat really means little unless you do a lot and see what's out there.
