When was it ever NOT a dump?

True! However, if you like to party it´s also a great city for that reason only. That said, you need to know how to behave and what places to go to.

When you gotta go, you gotta go.

Anyhow, it was so undemocratic of Oz to arrest a young immigrant, who was just trying to make an honest living, selling drugs.

Look ma my university degree.

Yes, rather confusing for a Tuesday morning.

And they don't open until 10:00.

Big-CX opens early, maybe 08.00, and Central not until 11.00 am. The latter has made me wait before, until I realized you can still access the ground floor bathrooms earlier.

Pattaya seems to be turning into a dump.

It has been a dump since long time ago. What a disgusting place. A safe heaven for criminals, fugitives, fraudsters, scammers from all over the world! Also many mentally ill people.

Why can’t Thailand put portable toilets on the streets. Chemical toilets like they use at construction sites.

It would put a whole new spin on brown envelopes ? 😆

He's probably checking his phone or maybe the second helping at the curry house was an error !!

Ask the Native Americans what they think of the white invaders.

I completely agree, I think in general the white race is a fairly savage race, and we have a lot to answer for.

As Billie Eilish recently said, hard to defend brutal ICE tactics, when we're living on stolen land.

That borscht he had on his last day at home finally caught up with him.

to be fair when you are desperate you have to go, he tried to find some cover, more likely to happen to tourists. Toilets are hard to find

I've walked into many hotels in tourist centers and if you look like you belong there you can walk directly to the restrooms, so he had hundreds of options.

Let's hope the new Govt. turns it into a true family resort.

personally I couldn't care less what happens to pattaya, but, there are plenty of "family resorts" here and around the world. It's only fair that there should be some places that cater for hedonistic adults,

What a pity the brain dead, apology for a singer ,"forgot" who formerly occupied the land where her 6 million dollar mansion is situated.

Why these brain dead "celebrities" feel qualified to comment is beyond me,

Ricky Gervais summed it up well

Totally agree try using a toilet next time at a petrol station or restaurant bar

Not difficult

I don't suppose the lack of public toilets has anything to do with this?

  1. Install public toilets every 300 yards

Why demand what would be a ridiculously expensive frequency of public toilets from Thailand when no other country, anywhere, does it?

I can tell you with authority that 7-Elevens do not have a toilet as they do in other countries.

I made that discovery very early on.

The restaurant/gas station idea works, unless in my case it was 75% of the way down Sathorn. No gas station or restaurant/bar. 😟

Pre Skytrain and I think I was walking back from the Irish pub on Convent.

When I was in India, a very long time ago, I went to Pondicherry in the far south. The beach was large but you couldn't walk on it as every few feet there was a "mine". People living in shanties nearby would run down and poop.

So proud were they of their fresh air poop culture they told a story to me of a Victorian lady asking a passerby where she could find a toilet.

"Madam," he said with a majestic sweep of his arm, "the whole of India is a toilet."

I wonder what the established inhabitants of the Americas thought of those "native American" Eurasian invaders when they arrived and took over their country?

I like that Canadian case where a judge recently awarded a stretch of land to the "original people", who were immediately sued for stealing it from the people who they ran off before that. Who will probably be sued by the people they ran off. Ad nauseum. They can keep the lawyers busy for centuries.

I've got a mental map of the toilets in the areas I frequent. But that's the result of years of walking around cross legged and teeth hurting. I don't envy tourists.

I found this Australian App called,"Toilet Map". it's very handy when you visit a town and you have no idea where a public toilet is which is a pain in the a..se especially when you need to do a no.2. Anyway when you open the App it will indicate all public toilets in close proximity to your location on it's map as long as you have "Location" set to "On".

I wonder if Thailand has a similar App and if not then get a smart IT Thai person to create one.
