This post is about the ever worsening of young farangs causing mayhem....violence ....anti social behaviour and the girls seem the worse

It seems like going by news reports this current generation of young Westerners are becoming more disrespectful in travelling in South East Asia

Never a week goes by without farangs fighting in Thailand or even spray painting graffiti in Chiang mai by the Australian vandals

So even Thailand are encouraging the hoodlum loutish behaviour by legalising weed therefore encouraging these types who think it's a free for all ,no motorbike helmets ,speeding mad ,drunk etc

Not so with the Philippines who have took a far harder approach to young farangs misbehaving by jailing several since the new laws of vlogging came into effect

No way would these farang louts get away in the Philippines what they get away with in Thailand

Bali as now also brought in new laws to combat this behaviour where they had a young Australian girl spit at the police so they are clamping down hard on young Westerners

And ...it's going to get worse ...much worse . . The young farangs whether they be from the UK ,, Australia or Israel are the worse behaved because of lack of discipline in the last 20 years

And now the once feared Thailand law and jails are no longer feared

This generation of young farang travellers seem to have no respect more into violence,more into climbing Buddhist temples to get a photo on tiktok

Seeing the younger crowd cannot be prosecuted here at a certain age, I would think a lot ,ore local kids get away with a whole lot more criminal activity. Add to that those that are of legal age that commit 95% of the crimes daily in Thailand. Emphasis is on news about foreigners because we are the minority here. Not an excuse to do any crimes but just the reality of who does what here. Watch the daily news here for awhile and you'll see the reality.

Legalizing weed isn't going to add to the crimes, especially the violent ones as weed usually has a calming effect. Drunk motorbike drivers not wearing helmets have been the norm here since scooters were invented. The 60 or more daily deaths are mostly scooter drivers, and locals.

Could it be that Gen Z is the weakest and most substandard generation in the history of mankind?

Could it be that growing up attached to multiple electronic devices, and being addicted to social media has a detrimental effect on the ability to mature properly, and thrive in this world?

I know this sounds like a somewhat dark thought, but I'm kind of glad that I'm older now and it won't have to see this world 40 or 50 years from now.

I believe since the advent of social media we have started to move backwards as a civilization, and we are marching back towards the Cro-Magnon era.

Not quite as bad as it once was, but Thai music festivals, weddings, etc, generally involve some violence. Then there's the rivalry between schools in Bangkok. Come on, guys. last week it was the Chinese, now it's the Farangs. Our new prime minister doesn't like "dirty Farangs" causing Covid outbreaks.

Muay Thai has become a money spinner with thousands of gyms offering training, and very expensive training at that. 1,000 baht for a group session 😁 😁 😁 This makes every youngster think they are a Muay Thai champ after a few hours training ( watching mostly) especially those with their newly painted Thai tattoos. Add to that mind altering weed with shops on every corner and the ease of getting a visa makes this a very aggressive mix. Most people use to come for fun sun, girls and free Muay Thai with somchai at the gym but now it's just hooligans doing as they can or can't do at home.

Never forget. Anutin was the co-author of the Prayuth Decimation, which reduced Thailand from a giant lion to a tiny, anemic, sickly little alley cat, in just a decade. He would use covid as an excuse, but that's just an excuse, so many other nations recovered just fine, Thailand didn't.

Frankly I'm shocked that the people gave him another chance to wreak his brand of destruction. He is an absolute bottom of the barrel pick. Substandard on every level possible.

This video should be shown in the classrooms, starting in primary school, at least a couple of times a week, emphasizing from a young age the risks of irresponsible behavior on the road ... 

There are Thais that don't like foreigners. I knew someone who told me his father had an enduring hatred toward the French because of their border issues when they ran Cambodia. Then there are people who went to study abroad, recognizing the quality of western education and proud to have foreigners as friends.

No country is without youth violence. In the fifties there was a problem with mods and rockers in the UK and in the US, they had Hells Angels and Latino gangs.

We cannot blame Thais for pointing at foreigners and hope they will understand that the vast majority of us are peaceful.

It is reckoned that mental maturity isn't achieved until approximately 26-years old. Those that have been exposed to unlimited smartphone and social media use from a teenager on have surely been mentally affected and the consequences are here for all to see.
