No more free TV??

Featured Replies

For many years I have been using an Android box connected to my TV to watch shows...movies etc.

Last few months I used Cinema HD....worked well. Before that...BEE Tv..worked, but full of ads.

Today.......no more Cinema HD. A message when opening said...no more support..or updates.

I looked for BEE tv...no more downloads....

Online search mentions paid services forced them to shut down....Netflix and others...

This stinks

any ideas on where to get free streaming.????

Sad day....😑

Dont need to pay for these providers who will end soon enough when they got your money. All you need is a smart TV or casting device if no smart TV, and an internet connection. Apps on smart TV or browser if just hdmi connection.

I haven't used Cinema for some years, had an email from Troypoint about the closure a few days ago, their recommendation is "Stremio"

I have been using Kodi for some years now without much problem. Bit of a learning curve but once set up fairly reliable.

Give up on streaming and use torrents. I used streaming apps years ago and they were always having issues. I even put together my own NAS so I could keep it all encrypted. It's a few minutes a day to update the NAS with new content I might want to watch, but when I'm looking for something new to watch everything on the NAS has been pre-screened.

Netflix is only 140 Baht a month. Is it worth to bother with boxes and stuff to save 4 bucks?

This isnt really legal streaming, so what did you expect ?

lots of iptv providers for about 4000 a year

get sports with these too

I use WizzTV, £65 pa (approx 3,000 THB) Lots of sports channels (I got it for the Premier League) plus PPV E.g. major Boxing events etc...

Also have a Sub for Netflix as the GF loves the Thai soaps and we can get Thai subs when I'm watching my stuff.

If you want limited content. Fine stick with Netflix . And in Thailand it really is a limited library .

Interesting. Maybe I should switch to HBO. Is it Comparable to Netflix?

Netflix Thailand Monthly Subscription Plans (2026):

  • Mobile Plan (99 THB/month): Watch on 1 mobile phone or tablet at a time in 480p (SD). Content can be downloaded on one device.

  • Basic Plan (169 THB/month): Watch on 1 device (phone, tablet, laptop, or TV) in 720p (HD). Content can be downloaded on one device

    .

  • Standard Plan (349 THB/month): Watch on 2 devices simultaneously in 1080p (Full HD). Option to add 1 extra member (not living together). Content can be downloaded on two devices.

  • Premium Plan (419 THB/month): Watch on 4 devices simultaneously in 4K+HDR (Ultra HD). Option to add up to 2 extra members (not living together). Content can be downloaded on six devices.

Limited and low quality. If you want 4k material, it's 419 baht and still limited.
