February 13Feb 13 Would it be taxi, motorbike or tuk tuk. I know it is only a short journey, but to make sure I don't get cheated, how much should I pay? Thanks.
February 13Feb 13 if you're so un-street wise that you see yourself as a target use the bolt or grab app. or wise up. up to you.
February 13Feb 13 Presumably Krung Thep Aphiwat? Less than 2km on a motorbike, THB40-50 on Bolt, likely ask 100 for a Win (should be 30-40 maybe).

Thanks.ok, it's really not difficult, but here we go... download bolt/grab app, this will give you a ball park figure for various motorcycle or taxi options, other public transport costs are negligible here, all the info you could ever need, after that, up to you.

Furthermore there is no healthy ventilation in there, and you see diesel trains enter that station blowing black smoke - an absolute disgrace.

Thanks. This is not exactly the answer you're looking for but the motorbike guys have a sign on a post in Chatuchak which says 40 baht to the bus station. I knew this. But when I arrived back at the bus station, I took a bike taxi back to Kampheng Phet and he told me it was 80. I said No it's 40. He said no, 80. I was too tired to argue so I took the ride, got off, pointed at the sign saying 40, he shrugged and rode away. I dont trust grab prices either. They always mysteriously go up during the journey.
