I'm not blaming Trump for all my problems, but they certainly have a personal effect on me with Trumps ill-thought out tariffs absolutely affecting businesses in Thailand - which in turn my business relies on and therefore affects me personally. And there is of course his attempt to dismantle decades long alliances and since taking office only a year ago, Trump has withdrawn the United States from 66 international organisations, including 31 United Nations entities and 35 non-UN organisations. Many of these organisations focus on climate, labour, migration and other issues the Trump administration has categorised as “contrary to the interests of the United States”. My point is that authorities masking up is not uncommon and is used in many countries not only by ICE. Its been creeping into western countries for a long time. So with the rest of the conversation regarding ICE aside the narrative seems to be focused that ICE in that regard is doing something new and shocking is not valid.

Masking up is ok in my view PROVIDED there is a clear unique reference number or word displayed on their person that the public can read in case of complaint.

One of the issues with ICE is people complaining about an illegal activity and not being able to successfully report them because it's impossible to identify who they were and their management does not cooperate.
