February 17Feb 17 Popular Post It is obvious that some people genuinely enjoy being on a forum like this. You can see it when a topic turns into a proper exchange of ideas. Different angles get explored. Opinions clash without turning toxic. People actually listen, respond thoughtfully, and sometimes even change their minds. That kind of dialogue can be satisfying. It feels constructive and useful. Then there is the other side of it.The endless smug replies. The snark for the sake of snark. The daily grind of needling strangers, twisting words, looking for angles to score points. Some posters seem to spend hours doing nothing but that and it often is reflected in the reputation area shown on their user profile. No curiosity. No creativity. Just low grade hostility dressed up as wit.And this is the part I genuinely do not understand. What kind of pleasure comes from spending large chunks of your day trying to irritate people you will never meet? From scanning threads for something to sneer at? From rehearsing the same sarcastic tone and insults over and over again? If that is the highlight of the day, that feels bleak. For me, pleasure is simple and grounded. Eating properly and feeling the difference in my body. Going for a long walk and clearing my head. Watching a genuinely interesting documentary that teaches me something new about the world. Reading something that stretches my thinking. Having a real conversation where both sides walk away with something to consider.None of that requires scoring points. None of it depends on belittling strangers. It is actually nourishing and refreshing. So I am curious, not in a confrontational way, but in an honest one. What actually gives you pleasure everyday? And if this place is part of that, is it the discussion itself, or the reaction you get from poking people?Because those are two very different things.

February 17Feb 17 Popular Post What actually provides me with greatest pleasure is for me to...Stimulate my nucleus accumbens. When I was younger, I used to stimulate my accumbens as much as possible. These days, being older, I have had too much stimulation for what's good for me.I also think that maybe, during past decades, I actually OVER-stimulated my accumbens. So, my message to you younger people: Don't overdo it, all in one go.Also: Do NOT touch those HOT-SPOTS in your nucleus accumbens, lest you completely fly off the handle.

Just mention Samsung top loading washing machines to him and he gets a full blown chubby.I get a great deal of pleasure, and I can feel it in my accumbens, just watching my Samsung agitate whatever I throw into it.I must say, honestly:This Samsung washing machine is one of the very few purchases I have made in Thailand which actually DOES provide pleasure, and not pain.I began by buying a Samsung Fridge. It turned out OK, for the money. Very low price, even for a huge 80kg friidge, yet it worked as well as the much higher priced Hitachi I also have. And, the Hitachi is no-longer Hitachi. It is run by some Turks out of North Africa or something, IDK.So then, I purchased the top-loader Samsung. It worked well, and I was shocked again. And next, I purchased one additional Samsung Fridge, again it was the 80kg monster which is taller than I, at about 186-centimeters.I can connect it to my Samsung Phone, so that I can hit SUPER FREEZE anytime I want. The only drawback is that the actual Freezer/Fridge Temps do not communicate to the mobile app, but you can't have everything for this extremely low pricepoint of about Bt20,000.I do not mind telling people that my opinion, so far, has changed much recently, and for the better.I have no remorse after buying Samsung phones, fridges, and washing machines.I have never contacted Samsung for service.I hope that my opinions and derived pleasure, after using Samsung products, remains this high, for years to come.Sometimes, Korea is good for something,....I guess.

When that happens, it's gonna be game over for you, Gigi. The whole new Samsung pleasure principal options are going to leave an even bigger hole in your bank account.

February 18Feb 18 Plenty of things, but to name a few, there's going for a few hours of badminton, heaving a few beers, relaxing in the hills or by the beach, chilling with my pets at home, a good lie in. Regarding this forum, I don't usually post much, but I get pleasure from witty comments, like Bday Prangs on this thread. I used to like I think he was called Collin, the paraplegic guy, but I've not seen him on here for years.

I haven't seen him on this site for many a year, yet lo and behold, I came across him when checking out a UK pension related page on Facebook just yesterday.

Guess he was too busy handing out Nazi salutes at Trump rallies to go. Despite all that money and fame, he’s still just another insecure, pathetic creep. Remember when he called that professional cave diver, a man literally saving children, a "pedo guy"? I do. You can’t trust the mug in a room full of underage girls, yet people like you are lining up like oversized fools to let him put a neural controller in their brains. What could possibly go wrong?
