The point of them is to drive manufacturing back home and its done that in spades so far.
In the end, the goal is to have no income tax and be funded by tariffs, like we used to.

The only tariff Trump can impose TOMORROW is Section 122 (Trade Act of 1974) which allows tariffs up to 15% for 150 days. Would need Congressional approval to extend.
