There's another newsflash. I defend those who have tattoos and haven't any myself. I'm the only one in my family that doesn't. What a person does to their own bodies isn't a problem, unless of course they have hate tattoos for everyone to see. Still freedom of speech but not cool. When I did mine, it was not normal among young Norwegians, and something you associated with sailors, drunk, army, criminals, or outsiders. I just came along with a colleque who was doing some ink on his tattoos and since I didnt had to driving license at the time, I shared a ride with him. I saw a drawing which I improved to fit my skydiving interest, and I paid him with a bottle of Spanish grape 96% booze I was selling at the time to get enough money to skydive. So maybe I was a bit criminal to for the time being.

I think a criminal check is a good idea. Many criminals finds Thailand to be the safe heaven until they get arrested after years in Thailand. Anyway it demands more officers at the airport i think. 2 times i see they arrested foreigners in suvarnaphum.Why i dont know.
