Why is a biergarten a place where you go to drink beer, but a kindergarten is not a place where you go to eat small children?

I've always wondered about that...

You "drink" beer in a biergarten, so naturally you should "drink" small children at a kindergarten. No one in their right mind would try to eat them silly ...............(that's why we have McDonalds)

I'm blessed. My missus doesn't talk just to be hearing her own voice going on and on and on.....

It's the agitated signing that gets on my nerves.

Oriental despotism.

White Man's Burden.

The Moon and Twin Towers conspiracy theorists are probably the same people who reckon the planet has ony been around for about 3 thousand years. I had a colleague who was a member of that religious nutterhood, and he was happy to argue for hours against any rational argument of the history of the World. Eg carbon dating -machines invented by man/false readings. Crackers.

Extreme indoctrination can be very unhealthy.

Stimulation, by it's very nature, will be subjective.

Extremes are generally unhealthy. Do you consider moderation healthy in indocrination?

For the sake of arguing, stimulation is subjective, by our own very nature, not the nature of the stimulation. If it was the nature of the stimulation that mattered, it would be objective.

I confess, I've an obsession with Susan Cowsill......

I confess, I've an obsession with Susan Cowsill......

I had to Google her name just to know who she is...

Sorry, she doesn't do anything for me. Maybe it's because she looks too much like my younger sister. And, as much as I like my sister, I don't fancy women who look like her.

There are times when I like to dress up in ladies panties and dance around the house.....

Pink is not the preferred. Dusty blue would suffice nicely.

No great leap of faith for me.......I sorta guessed he did that.

"he?"

I thought Zzaa was a buxom blonde teenage nymphette.

Oh - I need to wash my mind out with soap and water now...

Oh dear oh dear.

That's a worse disappointment than Obsession in Nana Plaza

dam_n foreigners.

It's all their fault.

Out and proud eh?

Makes me afraid to breathe in.....

The thing I love most about this hot weather in Thailand is the short skirts andlow-cut tops. Although they do make me look a bit gay.

What's the best wat to rid oneself of those annoying built-up calluses on your feet?

What's the best wat to rid oneself of those annoying built-up calluses on your feet?

I was going to say 'prayer and meditation' but I see you are one step ahead of me already.

There was an earlier thread on this, I think, or it was mentioned in the "do real men bite their toenails?" thread.

Anyway, if, unlike Zzaa, one is not tempted to take up the saffron robe, then the top recommendations were, if I recall correctly

1) douse the soles of your feet liberally with methylated spirits (I forget whether the next step was to put a match to it, or drink the remainder of the meths)

2) an angle grinder or rotary planer

A more radical alternative might involve some effort with a saw, a little bit of carpentry (apparently a popular hobby here), a couple of coats of creosote, and keep an eye out for a parrot to complete the Long John Silver approach. What could be finer? (that's stumped you...)
