Satellite What To Do With It?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I’m the proud owner of a PSI D-move satellite dish. This baby is capable of beaming more than 400 channels through my tele…

My first zapping session was like a cold shower in Europe around this time. Loads of channels from Pakistan, India, Korea, Bangladesh and I understand now why “God is in the TV”.

Yes there is BBC and some others, let’s say around 5 useful ones besides the Thai channels which pleases the Mia. Needless to say I’m not so proud anymore…

OK I did not really explore that new machine yet but till now I find it a complete waste. Are there any movie-sport-something like discovery or some interesting channels on this system??

Would like to hear your comments on these dish systems. Did I buy the wrong one? Is there a trick to catch some interesting programs? Maybe I must simply learn to operate it?

If you bought a FTA system ( Free to air ) then there is not a lot that is worth watching .

If you want something worthwhile you will need a receiver with conditional access and

a subscription , bit more cost involved .

I have heard it many times and I will pass it on there is no such thing as a free lunch .

A mate of mine has jsat and he's very pleased with it, all the channels you can get on UBC and more and no subscription.

It’s a FTA (Free to Air) system.

What’s the difference between this and the Jsat system? The dish has also the KU head and might be the same… is it than just a matter to change the decoder/receiver?

Where is it sold? Would be great to have the same channels as UBC.

Thanks for any advice.

Can I convert this system? Would not mind to pay a reasonable fee...

You may be able to get the set top box you have updated with new satellites like agila 2 it has a lot of good english channels or buy a new set top box from jsat at jsat.com they will install all the sats in asia for you and show you how it works.

You do not have to convert anything, and you do not need a subscription. PM me and i'll give you info on what to do. Let me know what kind of programming you are looking for.

You could add a Dreambox DM500 to your set up [internet connected] + use your own receiver to move the dish
