Report Pattaya Motorbike Drivers Protest Strict Helmet Law Fines
I would suggest that at least the first 25 of those "violations" is how people in Pattaya drive regularly. I do think that the wearing of helmet / seat belt should legally be up to the individual - i.e. the one likely to get injured, but I also think it's stupid not to wear them as appropriate. As for the wearing of "shared" helmets, I used to carry a baseball cap if I was going to use a motorcycle taxi and ask for a helmet to put on top of it. Having said that, I hate bikes of any sort, but now there's Bolt so those days have gone. -

You/they/them/those were claiming Musk went so far as to imitate Cory Booker on stage, and now you seem to think he's the second coming of Urania. Either fire up your tesla autopilot feature, or manually pick a lane. -

2025 SSA Form 7162 - "Hello, are you dead yet?" forms.
It's about that time of year for us US SSA recipient to get the annual SSA Form 7162 "Are you still alive" forms. These forms are usually mailed out in May so folks should be receiving them soon. I've opened this thread to discuss issues regarding the SSA Form 7162 forms here in 2025. I checked yesterday and I haven't received my form yet. -

Another EU headache
Clearly he's riding the popular dislike of immigrants, like most European countries Holland's politicians made the mistake to take in far too many immigrants. Obviously Holland can't take anymore. However, Wilders is far too extreme about it. Ban the Koran? That's insane. What is he afraid of? You can stop immigration, but you cannot incite to hatred of Dutch nationals who have committed no crimes. Wilders was convicted of that in the Netherlands. -

Slow mail from UK recently ?
If the item is so impotant then get it sent by courier, yes a bit expensive but received in 4 days and fully traceable, alternatively get it sent by royal mail registered post usually arrives in one week and can be tracked so you always know where it is.
