was wondering I didnt see any St. Paddy's stuff on ThaiV...... big celebration here in Sydney. its late Monday night and the streets are still filled with drunken greens every where

I've had my irish passport for a few years now.

Am just off out to an Irish bar here in Geneva to eat Irish stew and probably neck a few Kilkennys.

Am obviously wearing a green sweater and knickers. And jeans too.

I've decided to forgo the whole shin-dig.

I'm taking the night off, the bar is closed, yet I am in the bar.

The Union Society is closed, so this equals I can drink Guinness, neck some single malt (Talisker, Balvenie, Edradour, maybe a Laphroaig later on.) and not feel ashamed to not be drinking Jameson. It also means I can smoke quietly at the bar, and listen to some of my favourite songs.
