Gees, it seems like just yesterday that I posted a topic about the (epic ?) race for the first (non-Admin) member to crack 10k, back when Jai Dee and britmaveric were both within a stones throw of reaching that plateau. (Jai Dee won of course).

Hmmm, 3 Admin, 9 Super Mods and 8 (Advanced) Members now make up the (overall) Top 20, while I languish in the lower 50s. Ah well, one day at a time !

Have the Admin guys let you in to the super-secret private forum yet ? I hear it's even more fun than Bedlam (but you need the secret spy decoder ring to get in) !

I can't remember !

I seem to recall getting called by a friend to go to the bar early. I recall a roast piggy and a big, rotating clay vessel full of chickens. I remember getting my first drink, then things started fading. I do remember the morning after though.

I once woke up in a forest on a big rock. I have no idea what happened the night before, no memories of friends, events, places, nothing! Walked and walked until I came across a road, hitchhiked to somewhere that resembled civilization and somehow found my way home. Must have been a good night though!

What, you can't figure it out either ?

You know, even here we do get a little bit of time off, once in a while. I could spend it writing to the family back home, or calling the soon-to-be-ex, or getting a haircut, doing laundry, etc.

But no. I chose to spend that time with all you wonderful people, and tried to add a little humour/knowledge/fun into your lives. (I pretty much figured at the time that no one would seriously try to figure it out, but it did kill an hour on a Sunday morning, which meant I was only able to write the grumpy old fart, aka dad, a 5 page letter. He'll just have to live with that.)
