Hello Lemon,

There are many different Linux distributions that run from CD (Live-CD).

You can find all the different Linux flavors at http://www.distrowatch.com

I myself use Fedora Core 2 Linux, which is not a Live-CD version.

With kind regards,

Richard

P.S. Linux questions are welcome

hi'

lemon, I understand that you are happy to "present" a "new" thing...

but, you know, it's on since a while already ... mandrake made one years ago,

and now we have more than 30 distro's like this.

I use 2 of them as diagnostic cd for any platform, like chromonium, or bbc ...

the best of "live-cd" could be mandrake and knoppix like you mention.

a good way to have a taste of Linux before to choose :D

good advice anyway :o

cheers

Knoppix has become well known as the one bootable CD Linux that finds ###### near every component in a computer where other linux distrobutions fail.
