Great story and pics. I have lived in Nakhon Phanom for more than 6 years and heard about the mountain with 7 stairways (to heaven). Is your Puu Tok roughly 150 n/east of Udon and 120kms North of me ?

Every day I look across the Mae Nahm Kong at the Laos mountains and jungles and never tire of the view.

I would like to contact you in the New Year to see if you have any more trips planned in beautiful Isaan.

Yes that would be roughly where it's at, seems so odd as everything is pretty much l flat at round it.
