That wouldn't happen to be a harbor for all the local fishermen would it?

I did end up going to some fishing village in Rayong today, it might have been pretty close to where you were mate.

I managed to let the girlfriend persuade me to go to Rayong after all but it was a last moment decision, how many clicks have you got on your bike now?

Could be.

966kms now,

Rides like a dream from about 700km on the clock.

Going to get the carbon fiber touched up 2mora as it's started to be affected on the hugger and one of the air intakes due to the heat.

I will also adjust my chain after cleaning and lubing again.

A few wheelies are in order 2mora smile.png

An interesting custom exhaust to be found here, not sure about the end can, but the downpipes look trick, also it's been painted in the fastest colour wink.png

Right. I'll ask him if he is using a power commander.

Cheers Karlos.

One step further eh?

He could have shown us more slime green 555

Unbalanced headers hmmm.

I was shown up by the boys at my local Kwaker dealer this evening, they all had slip-ons, when i revved my engine (for a laugh) they asked if my bike was powered by electric :D 5555

If i had a machinery to hand i'd like to make a slip-on like this, i love the slash cut design of this KTM 1190

Reminds me of the Blitz Nur-spec system i had on my Celica GT4 smile.png

Hmmm, I think the Thai lads haven't even thought about a power commander.

I'm thinking along the same lines as you too, i'd hate to just make assumptions but i think they aren't even switched on enough to check the A/F ratio.... :(

I think i might have a little project coming on, it's going to be a while until i see if the 2012 bike will need remapping to suit the 2011 headers and a slip-on, so might see if a new exhaust tip can be welded on to a 2011 slip-on, the problem is i might need to shorten the whole slip-on or find a slip-on that is relatively short to begin with.

Some research is needed, ohhh how my girlfriend is loving the attention i'm giving my bike now :D 5555

hahahaha nice 1.

I think that will be really tricky man and if it's not done right it might make yer bike look nasty you know?

Go for quality man.

However, I do understand your dilemma regarding that fat sausage under yer bike that sounds like an old fart.

I have the same problem hehehehe.

How about one of these?

XK7351XER6RNINJA650R.jpg

No offense if it's your bike, but i think twin systems thrown under the bike like this look a little OTT to me.

And i'm sure there are people that dislike my idea of a slash cute exhaust too, each to their own :)

Not mine.

I'd never seen a slash cut but to me they look a bit Orange County Chopper not sports bike.

Even Russell uses straight cut pipessmile.png and he builds choppers.

I'm not sure Jardine could be considered slash cut? I suppose technically it is "slashed" but to make the outlet parallel to the bike. But even they have twin pipe systems for some bikes.

But yes these maybe OTT

As you say each to their own.

Nice, the shock looks better too smile.png

Yeh, needless to say it's far superior to the standard affair.

Cost was a factor though, but once you have it you can't ever go back to a standard shock - ask Tony and Nickster :)

hahaha same as the Leo Vince mate :)

I have yet to email those American lads to ask if they fitted another ECU type thingy :(

Will do though, as I see Kawasaki phoning me any time to day "Your headers have arrived sir" 555.

Found the link to the review of that er6 racer in the States http://www.cycleworld.com/contact/

But my laptop won't allow me to click on the bit where it says 'Got a technical problem thingy'.

Could someone click on it for me and ask the question to Marc Cook (the reviewer) I think it was about whether they have used a power commander with the under body Leo Vince exhaust????

Thanks in advance guys.

Dying to know if these just slip on (pardon the pun) and off we go???

Keep those good times rolling.

My ex-wife used to bitch and moan about how I loved my bikes more than her...

Ditched the harpy and replaced her with a new bike ;)

So Norman,

How does the new bike compare to your old one?

What differences, if any, do you note in regards to power, handling, brakes, etc?

As you're still runnng stock can I imagine the new bike might be a bit slower due to the added weight and restricted can?

Headed back to LOS in a few more days- looking forward to lots of tours and track days in the coming months! :D

Ride On!

Tony
