Laminate Flooring Brands

Featured Replies

I'm going to add laminate flooring in my new house. Does anyone know what brand is a good brand of flooring to use? What size is good 8m or 12mm? Is there much difference between both those 2 sizes. Where is the best place to buy it? How much does it cost? Thanks for any replies!

Jason,

Here is the brand I used.

But it goes by the name LeoWood in Thailand. Some english discription of the product.

I used 1200mm X 200mm X 8mm with 2mm foam underlay, all seems taped to keep moisture from flowing up from beneath the pans and make it nice to walk on too. Though you can use 1mm foam all so.

You mostly want to look at the way they lock together,Top coat/wear coat, water resistance, thickness and what there made of!

Hope this helps you.

P.S. I didn't go with V grove.

Hi,

Did you get any information about laminate ? Is it OK to do it at Homepro ?

Do you know if there is any special treatment for insects (termites?) to do before installing laminate flooring ?

Thanks.

I have to ask why go for the fake wood when Thailand has some stunning natural wood!!

check out the price of tung and grove hard woods, I know that they are a third of the price that they are in nz.

and a good wooden floor will look good for life!!

how long will a laminate floor last????

nothing beats real wood!!
