Oh how I HATE to hear the thunder this time of year. The results inevitably lead to little good and power outages. Power outages raise temperature inside house 10 degrees, block I'net, threaten refrigerated goods, darken the house, and set dogs to bark.

Meanwhile, aquifer is helped not at all, outside cooling is brief, it's more humid, and m'bike travel difficult.

Admit gardens might gain some benefit, but....

Anyway, it's noisy in Sansainoi.

Oh how I like the sky suddenly darkens pointing to a heavy driving rain in the coming hours.

Anyway, it's almost night in Sansainoi.

Mae Hia, very heavy winds, lots of thunder but so far just a drizzle of rain. As above, house lights now on. smile.png

San Kamphaeng, dark and windy, but no rain, come on rain....

And once again, just a tease (north of the city along the outer ring road).

I'd say it's like watching grass grow except you need that rain stuff to make grass grow....so in a way it's worse than watching grass grow.

Can't the junta just speed things up and make it rain by the sensible use of the all purpose article 44 ?

Enough today to avoid having to water the grass, thank you God.

Unusually heavy winds and ominous skies this evening, it's getting gusty and feels like a storm cometh.

It might not have rained, but these heavy winds have certainly cleared the air!

I can see the mountains to the east of Chiang Mai again!

Threatening to rain here in Mae Rim. A few drops but now the wind has dropped off so maybe it's done it's dash.

Very high winds continuing around me in Mae Rim.

Racing clouds and now rain.

Fingers crossed it will continue.

Spoke too soon....the sky has just opened up. Very pleasant and some very ominous clouds are lurking so maybe a good drenching

to all beautiful maerimitessmile.png

you bloody ripa!!!!!

7pm winds turned northerly and then power went out. Now getting some light rain in BWT. Not enough.

Some nice lightning fireworks here in Nong Hoi; maybe the Nagas are finally getting off their duffs.

Power flickering in Santitham- rain, thunder and lightening - was thinking of walking to Salsa Kitchen but may give it another 1/2 hour ;)

Still raining in Mae Rim, lots of thunder and lightening, I'm so so very happy, I wont have to water the garden for at least two days, wheeee!

Good rain for an hour and a half...lovely 26 degrtees outside. A very good respite....

The map looks calm right now..

You have to press the start button and select a timeframe, sheesh! gigglem.gif
