A MODEL with the largest breasts in the world is fighting for her life — following an operation to make them even BIGGER.

Brazilian Sheyla Hershey, 30, had surgery last month to boost her cleavage — despite already having a record-breaking 38KKK bust.

The blonde, who lives in Houston, Texas, suffered complications following the op, which left her struggling to breathe and bed-ridden.

Yesterday she was forced to have emergency surgery to repair the damage.

Docs were expected to remove her implants — and faced the possibility of removing the model's own breasts altogether.

Sheyla, who is fluent in five languages - Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, Chinese and English, said before going into surgery: "I had a large fever and it was painful (after last month's operation).

"I just couldn't breathe properly, it was terrible. I was in bed all day, couldn't get up."

Sheyla contracted a severe staph infection after last month's op which spread to both of her breasts.

She has already had more than 30 operations costing ฃ40,000 to reach the staggering bra size. Her implants contained an entire GALLON of silicone.

Sheyla said her surgeon was concerned the infection could leak into her bloodstream and endanger her life.

Her breasts have been acknowledged as the world's largest by the Brazilian equivalent of the Guinness Book of World Records.

I can understand a totally flat chested woman having an operation to create SOME curves where there weren't any before, but why go to the ridiculous? Many women with naturally over sized breasts want breast reductions because they are uncomfortable.
