Is it possible to just take the card and decoder serial number to UBC/TrueVision and get a month-to-month or 3month no deposit no pissing-about contract, given zero outlay . I think Sky do a similar thing in the UK for rejoining customers (3 month contract) if I remember correctly? But then TIT probably costs more.

I doubt because True Visions always asks for copy of passport for every change applied.

Besides, they do not have short terms services in their portfolio.

You should be able to sign up for the TrueVisions FreeView package (which ain't really free). No monthly commitments, only pay for the months you wish to view, 42 channels, etc.
