Hello, I am trying to find the large plastic postage envelopes to send gifts back home, The only option i have seen is the large cardboard boxes which weigh the same as

the item, therefore doubling the postage price, EMS and UPS have the large plastic envelopes but charge huge amounts for express shipping.

Has anyone tried sending items just wrapped in brown paper wrapping? or white plastic? without the thailand post logo.

Most post offices have large bubble wrap lined envelope of different sizes which I use.

If your post office doesn't carry large ones - in my experience they seldom do, possibly wanting you to use a box and up the tariff - then look in a stationary place. Get my large, padded envelopes from Robinsons (stationary dept), 20-odd baht for two.
