Actor Charlie Sheen hospitalized after hotel rage

NEW YORK (BNO NEWS) – Actor Charlie Sheen was hospitalized in the early hours of Tuesday morning due to a medical emergency, TMZ reported.

Sheen, 45, was in New York City when he was admitted into a nearby hospital due to a medical emergency after being reportedly drunk and naked in his hotel room at around 2 a.m. EDT.

Reports say that chairs had been thrown around the room and a chandelier was damaged when security was called. Sheen, according to reports, was seen going back to his hotel room with an unidentified woman, but became extremely angry after noting that his wallet was missing.

At around 2:00 a.m. EDT, a 911 emergency dispatch received a phone call regarding a possible intoxication, which turned out to be Sheen.

Sheen, who first received international attention for his role in the Vietnam War drama "Platoon," was admitted into New York Hospital at around 2:30 a.m. EDT, and according to police, an "intoxicated" Sheen voluntarily arrived "irrational" and "emotionally disturbed."

Many arrests for abuse of alcohol, drugs, and (worst crime of all) women are all part of Charlie's great claim to fame. Someone to be admired--NOT !. Too much booze tends to make some people act like idiots. It doesn't matter how many credentials they have. I don't blame Charlie for liking hot sexy women, but he should do something about his drinking problem. He obviously doesn't care about his reputation... and probably enjoys the notoriety. Like most actors I like some of his movies and not others. I can't remember a real good character actor plot that he's ever done, though. Most of his acting is light weight fluff that appeals to juveniles.

The porn star who locked herself in a bathroom while Charlie Sheen trashed a hotel room is preparing to sue the Two and a Half Men star, according to reports.

Capri Anderson feared her life was in danger when Sheen began throwing furniture and yelling in his room at the Plaza Hotel in Manhattan on Tuesday, TMZ reports.

The website quoted sources as saying that Anderson felt she was being held in the room against her will.

Anderson claims Sheen — who was ordered into rehab after a violent fight with his wife Brooke Mueller last Christmas — threatened her in the hotel room.

But law enforcement sources have told TMZ there are no current plans to file charges against Sheen.
