Uk & Usa Television

Featured Replies

Guys - when i spent a recent hotel night i was surprised to see ITV Granda & Universal on the hotels TV. I have UBC Plat and the choice seems slim. They are alos advertising Bio, SCience, CI & various other discovery channels which dont seem part of the UCB set-up. Does anyone know how to receive ITV, Universal & the otherDiscovery channels? Regards John.

We get Granada, Universal and SyFy from our local cable provider in Samutprakan. Not connected to UBC.

We get Granada in BKK and both the other 2 in BKK & Chiang Mai (not Granada).

In BKK its Charoen Cable TV and in CM its WETV.

Don't watch much TV, its funny the more channels you have the less you watch

I don't have the materials in front of me now as I am out of the country...but...I also have UBC Plat. And I saw something in one of my mailings discussing these extra channels. I did some research and found out they are an additional 200 Baht or so per month. Can't remember the exact amount, but I am pretty sure it is listed on the UBC website. I think it is called Premiere?

Since I discovered downloading, I don't watch a lot of live TV.

You don't say where you are John but in Pattaya it's Banglamung Cable that has Granada.

I'm in Roi-Et city.

Was the channel labeled as Granada, or was it UKTV.

Granada was rebranded as UKTV a couple of years back,

not that in improved the quality.......

5 year old programmes and endless repeats.

That would be cool. its 5 years since i lived in the UK. so they would be new for me..lol

I think you will soon get bored with the "new series"

that they showed 6 months ago................. :bah:
