Kindergartens In Phuket

Featured Replies

I am thinking of mooving to Phuket.

One important thing is whether or not there are good kindergarten/prathom schools.

Does anyone have kids in Phuket who can share their experience with bringing them up on the island.

Also, how much would a nice house(not on the beach) cost.

Do the tourists get in your face?

Thanks in advance

NN

Do you want information about Thai or int'l schools? How old is your child/children? I have four children and they are all at int'l school (I work there mind)

Not sure about house prices, are you looking to buy or rent. A lot will depend on what part of the island you choose.

The tourists only get in your face if you want them to. That is up to you.

It was Thai schools that I was interested in, for a 3 year old, as the Int. ones would be too expensive, unless there are any jobs going??

I would be looking to rent first.

The two best Thai schools are Dara Samut and Dowroong (so I've heard).

Both of these are in Phuket City (it's just a town really).

So that commuting is not too far, you would have to stay in the Kathu valley, Chalong, Rawai area, or, stay in Phuket town itself if you are a city slicker.

By coincidence, these are the places where house rentals are reasonably priced.
