Hi, I'm confused as I sometimes hear of people living in Thailand selling their Art, Crafts and so on overseas. They make the products here or anywhere they are, eg Paintings, but then send them home to be sold. Is this something that requires a visa or permit?

If a foreigner is involved in the production process he or she would need a work permit and valid visa in order to operate the business.

However, if the foreigner is only involved in sourcing then they may have the supplier undertake the export process for them.
