Dang. How can I get one of them diplomatic passports fer my Thai gf?

Did you notice that with one you can still not go to the US or UK without a visa.

Spot on, thank you very much for answering so quickly.

The list is from 2011, so possibly there has been some change since that time.

I can add that Thai passport holder can go to Cuba from Canada.

I know personally of 2 Thais women that visited Cuba from Canada with their Canadian boyfriend.

They only needed the "Tarjeta de turista/Tourist visa" which was given by the travel agency when they booked their tour.

I must had that both Thai women had proper visa to fly back to Canada after their holiday in Cuba.

But not possible from USA as they did not have Cuba representation in 2011.

How long can a Thai passport holder stay in Cambodia?

They are given 14 days entering on a Thai passport.

Thanks now. Can they extend that? I have a job offer there and am wondering if my Thai G/f could come and live there with me and or find work there to stay long time.

"Have you ever wondered where exactly your Thai Wife or Thai Girlfriend can travel to without the need for a visa"?

Like, no members might be Thais themselves, or have a male Thai partner?

I believe that quote is from the link in post #165.

That linked article is from a company named Thai Visa Express. I don't think there is any connection with Thaivisa.

This topic is correctly titled "Where can Thai people go...." and the OP was asking where he could go with his girl.

There are many, many more, of course, with visa on arrival that pretty much just means paying the fee.

Is the fee something substantial usually?

Additionally, there are places Thais can go without a visa if they have one for a neighboring country. Places like Mexico with a US visa, Ireland with a UK visa, etc. Many others.

Since we are living in the UK and Turkey is the nearest destination for no visa, I thought I would give it a try.

I made an online visa for myself (British citizen) and for my Thai wife I printed a page from the Turkish Embassy website in Bangkok where it specifically states that Thais do not need a visa, as a precaution. It was a good move as when we checked in with Pegasus at Stansted Airport, the checkin agent asked if my wife had a visa. I was able to show the printout and this was whisked away behind the scenes together with the wife's passport for someone higher up the scale to give us the greenlight. A couple of minutes later, the passport and printout returned and they confirmed we didn't need a visa for my wife and were allowed to board.

In Istanbul it was no problem at all with border immigration. The wife got a stamp straight away and the guy didn't even look up or check through her passport pages like they usually do. i was prepared for a hassle but it was plain sailing.

Istanbul was great. A good travel destination for your Thai wife. And no hassle coming back through UK immigration, either.

How about Kaliningrad ? It is in Europe and used to be Germany now it is in Russia. Can go without visa and celebrate very friendly relationship between Thai and Russian governments.

Ireland with a UK visa - Thought Thais needed a separate Schengen Visa?
