I am mystified as to what this particular electrical cabinet contains. It has nine "breakers" However there are no switches or anything to reset. Maybe somebody knows what this electrical outlet is for? Thanks!

It's certainly a box of contactors (power relays). Where do the thin wires go, that should give a clue as to what it controls.

Where you find contactors you usually find loads that are too big for regular switches, does the garden have lots of flood lights for example?

Do those thin control wires go to switches for the garden lighting?

They are 3 pole contactors switching possibly remote loads such as lighting,. One should look for a time switch or a remote switch controlling them.

The loads seem to be single phase from each contactor. Is the installation a residential or commercial one?

Clearly I am not familar with them, are all 3 phase instillations in Thailand meant to have one of these banks of 3 phase electrical contactors ?

(Further information, we have a 15(45) meter - 4 cable)

[EDIT] Crossy: " Where you find contactors you usually find loads that are too big for regular switches, does the garden have lots of flood lights for example?"

OK, got it now, big loads go directly to the appliance, eg oven, wall mounted hot water heater or socket for the kettle. If putting these things through a pretty little switch it would 'burn it up'. The switch controls a relay that open and closes and the currant goes through that.

No :)

This is some sort of control system possibly for outside lighting.
