Best Rate For Wire Money

Featured Replies

I would like to wire money from US to Thailand, who gives thebest rate. Does Supper Rich has Swift number?

As far as I know Super Rich is only a cash money exchange place.

If you are sending to a Bangkok Bank account the best way is via Bangkok Bank in New York who will pass it to Thailand Bangkok bank account.

I have found that Kasikorn and UOB gives the best exchange rates.

A comparison of three banks rate schedules as per their websites this morning for the USD TT buy is

UOB 30.64

Kaisikon Bank 30.64

Bangkok Bank 30.64.

Possibly comes down to what fees are charged and if your transfer is large enough to attracting a shaded exchange rate.

You do not mention the reason for transfer, but just a cautionary word if it is to buy a condo be sure your bank in US notes this on the transfer. Local bank will give a copy of the government form reporting the transfer and you must show to the land department to prove the funds came from outside Thailand. They cannot add this instruction unless it was on the wire transfer instruction or use line. Any of the mentioned banks are good or I also like citibank if they are convenient to you.
