Garbage Trash Bin

Featured Replies

The yellow/green/blue tall skinny ones with lid on it. Do I have to buy one of those or does the city provide one for us? On beach road, they were all over the place.

According to gf, she said something about asking the trash people about it, but unsure when we get new. we have one of those small black fishbowl looking ones, but the stray dog keeps running through it at night. The landlord does not have one (I wonder how they get rid of trash), and we are the biggest tenants. It's becoming more of a problem because it looks like the trash people come only once per week (??) whereas beach road they usually came 3 times a week.

Everywhere I seen in Bangkok you buy your own unless your moobaan happens to provide one....that's why a person sees 10 million different kinds of trash cans around. But for my in-laws who live out in Nakhorn Pathom province the local govt administration provided a couple of large yellow bins to each soi for folks to throw their garbage in.

Our local government here in Phala, Ban Chang provides the big 55 gallon heavy plastic container and pick up 3 times a week for the mere sum of 240 baht /year,,,,,,,,I had to pick up the container in the beginning when we paid the first year.
