I have windows7 and IE8, downloaded IE9 and installed it. No problems during installation but when I try to use it, it just shows a white screen. Yes there is the addressbar etc. But going to My Favorites and choosing for example this forum, it just comes up with a white screen. Any ideas?

Give this a try:

· From the browser Tools pull down menu select Internet Options

· Click the Advanced tab

· At the top , tick the "Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering" option.

· Click Apply and OK

· Close and then reopen Internet Explorer.

Or use this method if you can’t see the menu bar with the browser open:

. Close all Internet Explorer windows

· Go to Control Panel, then Network & Internet, then Internet Options

· Click the Advanced tab

· At the top , tick the "Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering" option.

· Click Apply and OK

· Open Internet Explorer

This fixes the problem for some folks.

Uninstall IE9. Reinstall IE9. Or install Google chrome. It's a lot easier.

I tried this 3 times already, same result. sad.png I'll try one more time so I can try the suggestion from Pib.
