Two things occurred to me when reading this story:

i - The lengths people will go to in order to remain solvent in SE Asia.

ii - The Indonesian newspaper journalists seem to have a better sense of humour than those employed in Thailand, certainly the expat newspapers in Pattaya anyway.

Maybe body scanners or something like that. Or they just had a tipoff. I hear its normal to give up small fry so a large shipment can go through because customs is busy with their other drug bust.

These people face the death penalty and they are still crazy enough to do it just to serve it at a party. Might as well have stored it in his empty head !
