I might of, maybe, could have posted this at some earlier point but always worth a listen.  Perhaps my favorite Amboy Dukes tune.  Some serious rockin' being done in '67.

And The Move moved on to become a truly one-of-a-kind band in a league of their own.  The emotive Old England Town off their '73 LP ELO2.

Pricked up my ears half way through when I heard the Hendrix riff from the Third Stone from the Sun.

What a shame the half-sister of Hendrix, Janie, who only ever met him twice in her life, has complete copyright power over his studio albums, and has consequently banned them from Youtube.

That's right!  Free Jimi's music on YT for the world to hear and enjoy!  So, appropriately then . . .

Fortunately for myself, I have his complete studio recordings on CD, purchased many, many years ago.

Don't have any info on this performance of Bob Dylan's Ballad Of A Thin Man but looks to be early/mid 70's.  Excellent performance, though.

I was sure "Have you ever seen the rain" was written in the 60's , but no, my memory was wrong.

John Fogerty wrote this masterpiece for the C C R album Pendulum (1971)  .

Then through the years we've had some interesting covers :

Bonnie Tyler

Rod Stewart

Boney M

But of course nothing can beat the original with John Fogerty , his voice owns this song,  here live in 2010 .

The studio version  of this Howlin Wolf song on Led Zep 1 has always been one of my favourite rock numbers. It's interesting to see live with Jimmy getting out the violin. Now I see how it was done!
