Seeking Clothing/footwear Distributor In Thailand For New "eco-Friendly" Shoe

Hi all, I have recently been engaged by a new Toronto-based company that has manufactured a new environmentally friendly shoe. They are currently only selling the shoes in North America and Europe and are looking to expand into Asia and have asked me - as I live and work here in Bangkok - to source a distributor that could handle nationwide distribution and possibly further afield in the region.

I actually have no experience of this sort of business and the reason I have been asked is because I have an existing relationship with the owners of the company and they would prefer to deal with someone they know and trust.

The idea would be that in exchange for hooking them up with a distributor for the shoe I would receive a modest royalty.

Anyway, any advice - or indeed expressions of interest - would be much appreciated.

I would be able to provide further details on the product and samples in the event of someone interested in taking this further. It is actually a quality product.
