JAS21 Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Guys My house is about 8 years old now ... the builder added on some bits but didn't pile to the same level as the house ... this resulted in the add ons dropping a bit. He then had to do a massive job of repiling and putting cross pieces in to hold things up ... this was done about a year later!! . So over the years the add ons have dropped slightly but now appeared to have settled on the cross supports. So I now want to repair the exterior mouldings. I have now cut (prepared) the moulding ready to make it all look good gain. In the uk I would have used bonding and then maybe likely skimmed over later to get a smooth finish. So here what should I use ... do they have anything simular ... it looks like the mouldings are made from something like those light block and then have been skimmed over. Suppose I could completely cut out the offending bits and cut a block to size and then skim with glue cement.... any other ideas? Thanks
Morakot Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 What are these light blocks made of? Something like this? https://www.google.co.th/images?q=Autoclaved+aerated+concrete&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&client=firefox-a&channel=rcs&gbv=1&sei=xLH2ULbpOYjZrQf37oDQAw&hl=th&sa=X&oi=image_result_group
