My sound system has just packed up which is hardly surprising given all the electrical outages these past few weeks.

I can't seem to find a Yamaha service centre on Samui can anyone help please? Alternatively maybe a HI fi electronics wizard.

The system is a soundbox YS 1100.

There used to be a place that repaired stuff like that on the road to Lam Din market (I think)

From the traffic lights on the ring road - on the left hand side, not far from the lights. I am sure that it was in that area. Sorry if I am wrong.

(Going anti clockwise on the ring road) There is a place on the high street in Nathon that sells and repairs music amps/speakers and audio stuff. It's on the left hand side of the main street near the end, before you turn right to go along the sea front.

try opposite Tesco Chaweng Ring Road after the banks coming from Menam, if they can't do it, opposite Big C is Denon and I think they handle also Yamaha. They sent it to Yamaha Bangkok to repair and back for a spare change
