Showering In Thailand

Featured Replies

It seems to come up often on TV that Westerners don't shower much.

Backpackers i'm sure are a problem however the average Westerner here i'm quite sure are quite clean.

I shower twice a day, what about you guys.

Let's put a figure on it so people can see we are not all dirty, I believe most westerners I have come across are as clean as me, and I am quite fussy.

I bathe.

I believe in not wasting water and soap into the environment.

I keep the water in the bath for several days.

So you moved to Thailand to train Muya Thai and start threads about how often you shower??

Well done Sir!!rolleyes.gif

Never had a shower here, the ladies do not understand wink.png

Hmmmmmm, Muay Thai, heavy exercise and profuse sweating and only two showers a day, some might consider such a person a bit dirty.

(Not to mention smelly)

They will understand wedding with no problems at all

Showering more than twice a day is not a good idea

It dries up your skin and if not organic get tons of phthalates to prepare you for cancer

I follow the Thai lead and douse myself in powder after drying off. Keeps me cool and smelling good for hours.

Also, for those interested, I shower twice a day. I know this is exciting stuff... For interviews please PM me. Thank you.

Twice a day in LOS.Twice a week in Australia

Twice a day in LOS.Twice a week in Australia

twice a day in Thailand and just my right hand twice a day in Australia..:D...sorry, I've been drinking again.

Me too...let's all shower first before we let SVB get the round in!

This time,

No need to wait for any Typhoons I suppose.

(Sports jokes, I do not get)

I'd shower more often if they had showers on the BTS.

Mind, by the time I get to the BTS I look like i've just had a shower anyway, but sadly, don't smell like I have...

As I have said before,

"12 years ago when it rained over 2 meters in a day,

I took my soap

Went outside for a shower.

Heavenly"

That was in Taiwan

I have not seen much rain since I have been here,

Although there is a huge long topic about it in the CM forum.

No one in CM seems to know what a good rain actually looks like.

All they get here, as far as I can see, is just a sprinkle here

A tinkle there.

It often rains over 2 meters a day where I am from.

This is the truth.
