Where to buy a coloured western toilet?

For some time now I have been wanting to replace the old western style toilet in my house, but everywhere I have been to only seem to sell white toilets. When I asked the woman at Home Pro to call the factory they said that they only supplied them in white. I have tried a a large retailer near Ratchadipesek who had had coloured toilets on their website but alas they have no stock nor any prospect of any. I find it hard to believe that there is no demand for toilets other than in the standard boring white, having said that I do recall seeing a red on once in Home Pro about six years ago.

Does any one know where I can get a non white standard western toilet?

Thanks in advance!

The only colored toilets I've seen have been pink or light blue, are kindergarten sized, and don't have a flushing mechanism sad.png

Try Thai Watsadu or a smaller local building materials shop for these..

Maybe get a 'boring white' one and spruce it up with a Winnie The Pooh seat? :P

Bought mine years ago at the local homemart, Cotto brans. Full size western toilet. They had many colors, I chose gray. Home Pro also has them.

There's no colored toilets in any recent Cotto catalogs - that must have been some time ago :)

Not meaning to be argumentative, but we have not segregated the "Whites Only" from the "Coloured" toilets in most of the west since the 1960's civil rights movement.

Except maybe a few counties in Mississippi and Alabama.

Sorry, I read the title and couldn't resist.

We have 'American Standard' toilet, flushing, full size, matching seat and wash basins in deep red. Cannot remember any real problem getting them....

BUT it was many years ago and whilst the shop is still there it is now part of the Home Mart chain so probably not available.

And I have a brown toilet because I have not cleaned it in four years.

White toilets are made because it is the most neutral of all colours.

Who really gives a shit what colour your toilet is.

And white looks clean - which is important to some people before they sit ;)

Plus it doesn't look old.. Look at a pale blue, pink, brown or any other color toilet and you immediately think you're back in the 70's ;)

Try this website, they list 11 different colors available: http://www.cotto.co.th/en/products/gallery/toilet_urinal/toilet The Cotto brochure shows the basic design of the fixtures, but they are available in 11 different colors.

One of the local hardware stores in Satuek has an array of coloured toilets. There in a shed out the back - old stock that nobody wanted to buy.

So if you really want one, find a small out of the way hardware store and look through their unsalable items, you will probably find one there.

Coloured toilets were a craze in the UK during the 80's - and that is where they should remain!! Quite gross IMHO, white is much more appealing and clean looking, but each to their own!

On a more practical basis it can be very advantageous having white as you will quickly know of blood or dark urine which could go unnoticed in a darker toilet.
