riclag Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Hi, I'm having difficulties explaining to my Thai GF that I need a scan of a purchase and sale agreement document that I had made a copy of then signed. I must scan it to my flash drive then Email it to someone. Is there some place in Sakon Nakhon that I can go to other then a Internet cafe that will understand what I need ?
Guest Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Why not simply take a photo of the document, even with a phone camera?
fatfather Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 You can download an application that saves your pictures made with your phone as a PDF file. CamScanner Fatfather Sent from my phone 2

Maestro Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Try a printing shop. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place. — George Bernard Shaw
wooloomooloo Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 What's wrong with an internet café? The staff must surely know how to scan and email a document. 1
davejones Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 Buy a printer/scanner and do it yourself. And learn some Thai so that you can communicate with your gf.
lemonjelly Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 or find a GF with some basic English skills (not meant to read as drinking copius amounts of lager and being a nuisance) .
sirchai Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Use SCAN and SAVE. If your educated wife doesn't get it, the guys at an internet shop understand these words.-
riclag Posted September 9, 2013 Author Posted September 9, 2013 I went to a Internet Cafe and I got a scan .I would of preferred it in PDF format but I'll see if its acceptable in a jpeg format. Thank You
NCC1701A Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 You can download an application that saves your pictures made with your phone as a PDF file. CamScanner Fatfather Sent from my phone I downloaded CamScanner and it works great. I just "scanned" my passport. Worked great. Costs nothing. 1
sirchai Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 I went to a Internet Cafe and I got a scan .I would of preferred it in PDF format but I'll see if its acceptable in a jpeg format. Thank You Might be a good time to take your wife to a shop, or better buy a scanner and try different software. Pretty much easy to convert Jpeg into PDF. If you do need it in PDF, just send it to me and you'll get it back in wanted format. Cheers- ..

Ernestine Lyons Posted April 9, 2021 Posted April 9, 2021 Hi everybody, Is there an app similar to CamScanner that doesn't need to pay for unlocking Premium features?
rcuthbert Posted April 9, 2021 Posted April 9, 2021 Enter text of your needs in "Google Translate". Photograph the Thai text. Show it to your gal, and then the print shop staff.
