scanning a document

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm having difficulties explaining to my Thai GF that I need a scan of a purchase and sale agreement document that I had made a copy of then signed. I must scan it to my flash drive then Email it to someone. Is there some place in Sakon Nakhon that I can go to other then a Internet cafe that will understand what I need ?

Why not simply take a photo of the document, even with a phone camera?

You can download an application that saves your pictures made with your phone as a PDF file. CamScanner

must be hilarious watching both of you trying to communicate with each other…..it does develop ones thespian skills having a Thai Gf.

What's wrong with an internet café? The staff must surely know how to scan and email a document.

Buy a printer/scanner and do it yourself. And learn some Thai so that you can communicate with your gf.

or find a GF with some basic English skills (not meant to read as drinking copius amounts of lager and being a nuisance) .

some people just never grow up

Use SCAN and SAVE. If your educated wife doesn't get it, the guys at an internet shop understand these words.-wai2.gif

I went to a Internet Cafe and I got a scan .I would of preferred it in PDF format but I'll see if its acceptable in a jpeg format.

Thank You

I downloaded CamScanner and it works great. I just "scanned" my passport. Worked great. Costs nothing.

Might be a good time to take your wife to a shop, or better buy a scanner and try different software. Pretty much easy to convert Jpeg into PDF.

If you do need it in PDF, just send it to me and you'll get it back in wanted format. Cheers-wai2.gif ..

Enter text of your needs in "Google Translate". Photograph the Thai text. Show it to your gal, and then the print shop staff.
