Is overnight parking at CM airport safe? Expensive?

Featured Replies

My family have bookings to depart CM late morning and return to CM last flight next day, 1.5 days total time.

Would appreciate some comments please from CM locals on:

Is it safe to leave a car in the CM airport car park overnight?

Is the cost relatively OK?

Is there a special 'long-term' section where we should deposit the car? Is there any special documentation / ticket?

All comments you can share appreciated. Thanks.

Yes & yes.

THB200 per day.

Your 1.5 days will charge for 2 days. Used to do it a lot but over 2 days we just get a taxi.Standard ticket as you enter car park retain for when you leave, no particular area but nearer the airport building makes more sense.

I leave my car there for longer periods on a regular basis and have never had a problem. The cost can get a bit high as there is no long term area or ticket but the convenience makes it worthwhile. The so-called International and Domestic areas are in fact meaningless on many occasions as you take whatever space you can find at busy periods. It won't be long before it is necessary to either build a multi storey parkade or open up another area.
