I use this type of plastering at my projects (building) in the UAE .it is very fast and you get a very nice surface , ,because the ratio of water and drymix is always the same. I don,t like the hand made quality .post-108598-0-36720200-1385195820_thumb.post-108598-0-16462000-1385195843_thumb.post-108598-0-62811200-1385195860_thumb.

We use example M&P mortar and plaster and you get the machine to apply for free.

My house have ca.1200 m2 to plaster .5 day to finish .

This type of work is more expensive .

We use many type of plaster profile ,like for corner ,joint,s and grove but the resold is very nice and less crack,s.

So I consider to use like this ,if it's at the Thai construction market.

Have never seen this process being used in TH.

1/2 day to finish 1200m2? you must have 600 laborers doing the screeding - this machine can't save *that* much time, LOL.

To reach the target ,one skill worker have to plaster 60 m2 per day (10 h) ,5 worker at one team 300 m2 per day. i have only Indian and Pakistani labour with max 4 year experience .

From what I see, mixing the plaster is the job for the wife's, cannot see many builders buying a machine when there wife's will do it for them .. and not only in Thailand, it is very common in many places..

again not just in Thailand, can never work out why a builder will spend hours making a plastering board, here a new one cost under 100 baht, bought one today myself 70 baht..

Again a so ,what I say is ,if you buy the plaster mix in a big amount ,cane get the mixer for free or have to rent(at my place) but my question wars ,how is this now in Thailand ? So what I ask ,maybe some one saw or use this system in the past time.

If not ,is ok a so? Finnish question .

You are really confusing me now.. Indian and Pakistani labor, but asking whether the machine can be found in Thailand?

As noted, I have never seen this type of machine in Thailand, and as ignis says, normally very cheap labor is used to mix rendering cement by hand here.

However, that doesn't mean you won't be able to get the machine if you really want it. If you can find the Thai distributor for one of the brands that makes these machines, they will likely have the SKU on record, and you never know, you might find one that's been sitting in a warehouse for a while.

Mh, mr IMHO

I say ,that I work now in the UAE with this type of material and machine and use labour from India ,Pakistan but I will build my house in Thailand very soon .so I like to use this type of drymix with machine by my self,if is a option to rent. I will not buy!

I work in Thailand for 15 years and I wars not happy with thaistyle plaster (crack,s and bubble)

I like to build my house in hight end quality same as I make for Hilton,Kempinski,Moevenpick.i like the different way. Start with insulation, waterproofing, tailing .roof work to a roof contractor, plumping to a plumper contractor.the plasterer is not the brickleher ,the tailer is not the mason. In Thailand is one Chang for evesing and so is looks like after the house is finnish.nothing is perfect.chang man ,nit Noi ,Mai pen rai

I have used this system on projects in the UK and Europe, for internal plastering on system building panels such as Structherm Panels. A similar system -with a different mix- is also used for external proprietary rendering also used on system building panels, but I have never seen it in Thailand.

The equipment I used was manufactured by Greco. A couple of years ago I saw Greco had a stand at the Architect Expo in Bangkok and a manufacturer's agent in Bangkok. I didn't check to see what products they were promoting though.

If you want a quick easy solution to internal plastering, without employing a plasterer and want to D.I.Y. I would suggest gypsum dry-lining either directly onto the infill masonry, or onto an aluminium frame which leaves a useful void in which to run services and insulation.

Hi Riley

Thanks for "link".

This idea to use gypsum is ok but for Thailand not useful ,because have some gap behind and give space for ants and cockroaches to hide and grow .

I will try to contact Craco about this pump and let see how much is will me cost to buy it. And maybe I cane use it later for open a small company for plastering .

Plaster as you know it in the West just sheets off the walls here - too humid/damp. People come over here and think they're still in Basingstoke laugh.png Or Cardiff, to the Welsh guy who suggested I put FELT under my roofing w00t.gif
