Hello,

I am an American, living in Phitsanulok for about 2 years now. Now that the house is built and the trees, plants, and flowers are mostly planted, I am hoping to find some other things to do. I would like to find other expats in the area who might enjoy getting together for a beer or 2, talking about experiences, or whatever. I'm not much into the expat club scene but I would probably go to a meeting, if I knew where and when. I am a musician. I have a modest recording studio at my home. It would be nice to meet other musicians or singers, not necessary, but nice. Anyway, let me know if you are interested in getting together, if you're out there in Phitsanulok or thereabouts.

Thanks.

Sincerely,

George

Oh yeah. Forgot to mention the Beer Bars. If you know of any Beer Bars in Phitsanulok, I sure would appreciate you telling me where. Sometimes, I'd like to just go to the bar and sit and have a beer to 2. Can't find any place to do that in Phitsanulok, so far.

Thanks.

Hi George, CharlieH mentioned you to me, I live about 80k south of Phitsanulok, I was a professional bass player mainly in American country music, hence my user name Possum, taken from George Jones, a country music legend. Do you know about him? I suppose you are in to rock music. Anyway it would be good to hear from you. Possum

George,

There is a small group, mostly Americans and Brits, that meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. every Wednesday at the buffet offered on the second floor of the Topland Hotel. You are invited and more than welcome to attend. It is a good oportunity to network about where to find things, what's going on, etc. Some of us are golfers. And, yes, there are beer bars in Phit'lok. There is a small one out of the way one that is owned by a Brit that is a great place just to hang out for a beer or two. There are others that are well decorated with bar girls. Some of us go out to the beer bars on Friday night. If you want answers about Phitsanulok, come to the lunch.

Hey, moderator, whoever you are that is monitoring this, don't you think there have been enough posts on this subject (Phitsanulok) in the last year to warrant the creation of a local site for Phitsanulok?
