pdn215.jpg

SATTAHIP – February 12, 2014 [PDN]; at 2.30 p.m. the journalist received complaint from Chief Petty Officer First Class (1 CPO) Suraphong belongs to the 1st Frigate fleet, Royal Thai Fleet, together with his wife named Mrs. Natechanok that their son named Mr. Netiphong aged 16, who is a secondary student of Matthayomsuksa 5 was assaulted at school by almost 20 senior students of Matthayomsuksa 6 injuring him severe to his head, face and body. He was rushed to the Queen Sirikit hospital, Amphur Sattahip, Chonburi province.

Upon questioning Mr. Netiphong (the victim) he told police that it was the last day of final exams and after the exams had finished he was walking across the football field when suddenly there was a senior student named Mr. Ice together and almost 20 of his friends, some of them were carrying pieces of wood. They then set about beating him up until he was knocked unconscious before fleeing the scene. When Mr. Netiphong regained consciousness he called his parents. He said that the cause of the attack was that in the past he had a conflict with Mr. Ice who seemed to pick on him for no reason which leads to them fighting so Mr. Netiphong avoided him as much as he could. But on the last day Mr. Ice the senior student would be leaving the school to go to university so he decided to beat him up one last time.

And Thais will be Thais.

20 ?????????

Time for those Muay Thai Lessons ....

20 to one seems a bit excessive. I thought the normal Thai gang up amount is about

6 to 8 on one.... Bringing pieces of wood ?? Sounds close to attempted murder to me.

The level of violence here always astonishes me. Am still not sure what the reason is.

If Mr. Ice was a lunatic, I could sort of write it off as the actions of one. But when twenty

of his friends join in for fun, then there is something wrong with this society...

So Mr. Ice the senior student is leaving the school to go to university?

Sounds like he is going to be a real credit to which ever University has accepted himcool.png

Wonder why he's called Mr Ice?

Crystal Meth springs immediately to mind! Maybe more to the story than is being told. But 20 to 1 with wooden clubs?

Introduce the birch for these punks!

Boys will be boys.

Mr Ice is a chicken s**t coward. 20 on to 1 has nothing to do with "boys will be boys"

Mr Ice needs a few weeks in the monkey house, that will sort him out

Mr. Ice must be a trainee Baht-Bus driver with his back-up mob cheesy.gif

He should be a perfect candidate for a job in the government.

Sent from my SM-P601 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app

Sounds like the chief petty officer should return the favor to Mr Ice if the police don't do anything about it.

Detritus ! Should be arrested and jailed. If he is going to uni he should know better and should be tried for GBH as an adult and given the appropriate punishment - if there is sufficient evidennce that is.

This societety IS wrong ! Are you surprised ? i'm not! EVERY day kids watch together with their families (parents, brothers, sisters, uncles, aunties, etc...) all those violent and useless soaps where the main attractions are killing and beating up.... So surprised ? As long as those uneducated morons in politics remain what they are now, this will continue... So that means for the next 100 years it will not improve, unfortunately... coffee1.gif

I think there is more to the story than is being told.

I wonder if he is a nancy boy?

Nancy boy as in gay? Would that be a reasonable explanation?

Might hamper his chances of getting admitted to university in the first place.

i remember i was in highschool and two boys had a fight and every one in th whole play ground crowded around and watched like some kind of gladiator event. It kind of sickened me and somes up what school is.

The teachers were prolly in the staff room drinking their booze

I am stronger than you, so I must be right...

One hell of a Sophism...

Sophisms belong to the world of uneducated and unsophisticated people...

And he is a senior accessing University..

May Buddha intervene pls.......

'... Mr. Ice the senior student would be leaving the school to go to university so he decided to beat him up one last time ...' Helped by 19 friends. I'm sure they're all feeling very proud of their display of bravery. Only I wouldn't want them behind me in a real fight, against a common enemy. And why is it that Thai media tends to refer to such individuals as 'Mr'?

The same thing happened when i was in school but the fights were all 1 on 1 not 20 on 1. Also the fights were not actual fights where both guys had a chance, not a big guy beating up some little guy.

dog pack mentality... thainess we dont understand

dog pack mentality... thainess we dont understand

Thais aren't the only ones that have this mentality.

Cowards seem to travel in packs. I hope the young man recovers and the assailants are brought to justice.

20 onto one younger boy. Typical Thai male bravado!

When I was in school, the occasional fight was done 1 on 1, nobody was allowed to jump in to make the numbers uneven and unfair. It just wasn't done. A bunch of guys jumping on one guy also wasn't done, it would simply make them all known as pussies and cowards.

In our eyes those doing it the Thai way are pathetic pieces of sh!t, utter cowards not worth spitting on.

"Boys will be boys is the most stupid, uneducated, intolerable comment to this story. Jessefrank you are obviously just as thick as Mr. Ice. I cant even be bothered to explain why as you clearly would not understand.
